Art in the time of War.
I admit to thinking of artists as more than “interior decorators” and rather expect that at least some of us will make statements with our work to help human beings not be horrors to one another.
Right now, with the fears of WWIII looming in the hearts and minds of so many, I wish I could paint a modern day Guernica like masterpiece… or even a sketch that would help me feel better and quell my own sadness and fears.
I’m going to see what I can come up with. I need to try just for my own sanity. Make Art, Music, Poetry, literature... just keep working on ways for humans to stop destroying the planet and one another.
