Why doesn't goodness sell? Why aren't kindness and peace the headlines? I know you've heard the term "toxic capitalism" and well, there it is: Too impatient to peel a boilded egg? Well for only $19.95.... and who doesn't need a flash light you can run over with a tank? And Still...
Women's "looks" are held up as the main value of a woman...No, it isn't. Women are better than arm candy, party favors, brood mares and domestic indentured servants. Stop it already!
The train wrecks of all sorts still grab the "audience's attention". We're geared for fear and are exploited because of it. If you are going to wake up to something, wake up to that!
The CURE is to give your attention to the good stuff of the world, the good that people do, the art and beauty and gardens they grow. The kindness and generosity in simple everyday acts. You know the old story of two dogs inside us, a good dog and a bad dog, and the one that gets stronger is the one you feed. Feed the good dog in you. Feed the good dogs of society. Be a good dog in society, more wagging and less barking. We can fix our problems, so let's do it.
Clean air, clean water, sustainable fuel, nutritious food and zero population growth... it is all within our power and ability. You know this is true.
